Colby Cave – 25 (1994 – 2020)
Canadian ice hockey player Colby Cave played the center position for the Edmonton Oilers and the Boston Bruins of the NHL. Born in 1994, Colby began his professional career in 2015. In addition to playing in the NHL, he also played for his teams’ respective affiliates in the American Hockey League.
Cave was an up-and-coming hockey superstar, with many people speculating his success in a year or two. Yet it never happened as he had a colloid cyst, a benign form of brain tumor. The night between April 6 and 7, the cyst caused complications that required immediate surgery. Unfortunately, Colby couldn’t survive it, and he left this world on April 11, aged 25.
