Marilyn Knowlden – 1926
It was as a child artist that Marilyn Knowlden, a former actress, broke into the entertainment industry. When she first appeared on the screen at the age of four, she was a little tot. Although she was very young, she still managed to put up a great show. In the ’30s and ’40s, she was one of the most popular child stars.
Knowlden retired from acting to pursue her studies in music and drama at Mills College. She managed to perform in the well-known theatrical play “My Fair Lady.” Her autobiography, “Little Girl in Big Pictures,” was published in 2011 and became a best-seller.
