Absolutely Distraught
After taking his ex-wife to court, Richard spent a lot of his time telling people again and again that he found out he wasn’t the father of his three children. Paternity fraud is always hurtful, but it hurts more in the case of men who do everything right by the kids they think to be their own.
Add the fact that Richard lost a ton of money to his ex-wife when the two divorced, and you get a combo that would turn any man’s head upside down. He sure felt like his life would never be the same: it was as though his entire past proved to be a lie.
