Dubai is an incredible city, home to many of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, giving it an impressive and futuristic skyline that is distinctive in the Middle East. The most well-known of these structures is the Burj Khalifa, which stands 828 meters tall and is the world’s tallest building as of 2023.
It even surpassed the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan, making it the world’s tallest man-made structure. This was part of the government’s plan to diversify away from its oil-based economy and focus more on tourism.
