George Clooney – Baseball
George Clooney might be one of the biggest names in Hollywood today, but he also had his humble beginning before stardom. He attended Augusta High School and told Esquire that he earned good grades and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He wanted to be a professional baseball player and tried out for the Cincinnati Reds.
Although it did not push through, it only served as a sign that he was meant for other and more significant pursuits. He first had his breakthrough in “ER” and “From Dusk till Dawn.” Apart from acting, he is also the director behind commercially and critically successful films “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” and “Leatherheads.”
