Dick Butkus (Born in 1942)
Dick Butkus is considered one of the greatest and most intimidating linebackers in pro ball history. He played a linebacker for the Chicago Bears in the National Football League. He is well known for his tackles, and in 2009, he was named the most feared tackler of all time by the NFL network.
After his successful playing career, he began a new one in celebrity endorsements, acting, and sports commentary. He appeared in films like “Necessary Roughness” and “Any Given Sunday.” He also played himself in the TV movie “Brian’s Song” in 1971 and the comedy in 2002, “Teddy Bears’ Picnic.”
