Bringing Mammoths Back To Life

With Yuka’s discovery, now more than ever, scientists are closer to knowing how ancient life worked and are on the verge of resurrecting the fossils, at least a version of them. The plan is to use cells from creatures like Yuka and combine them with a surrogate mother and voila! We have a species that is a blend of the past and current animals.

Experts from Japan and South Korea are already on this quest, and it seems like soon they will be able to make a breakthrough in their cloning experiments. It wouldn’t be surprising to see some mammoths brought back from ancient times.
