Beautiful Prehistoric Pups

It seems puppies are generally cute regardless of where they come from and from which period if this discovery is anything to go by. This well-preserved puppy found in Siberia is said to be over 18,000 years old and has everything, including its whiskers, in perfect condition.

Named Dogor, which translates to ‘friend’ in the Yakut dialect, the animal has been a subject of discussion with scientists conflicted about its true nature, whether it’s a dog or a wolf. We might never know what it truly is, but the specimen gives an interesting perspective of life then.
