Helen Mirren (Born In 1945) – The Queen
Embodying British elegance, Helen Mirren gained international recognition for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in “The Queen.” Her performance earned an Academy and British Film Award. She is the only artist to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting in the United States and the United Kingdom.
As such, it was not a surprise when she was appointed a Dame for her services to drama during the Queen’s 2003 Birthday Honours at Buckingham Palace. Her contribution also landed a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Still appearing onscreen, she has received the lifetime achievements British Academy of Film and Television Arts and Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.
