Wendy Craig (Born In 1934) – Not in Front of the Children
Wendy Craig contributed to how sitcoms have been developed. She enjoyed a highly successful career run in the ’60s and ’70s. She is remembered for starring in three sitcoms in a row, namely “Not in Front of the Children,” “…And Mother Makes Three,” and “…And Mother Makes Five.”
Since then, Craig achieved more popularity and was culturally iconic for her characteristically short hairstyle that blended well with her characters. In 1981, she pursued onscreen drama in the series she also created titled “Nanny.” However, she was still associated with comedy and continued success with leading roles in “Brighton Belles” and “The Golden Girls.”
