Prince Charming – Adam Without The Ants
Stuart Leslie Goddard, Aka Adam Ant, shot to fame in the late ’70s and early ’80s with his band Adam and the Ants. With the band, he released hit albums such as Dirk Wears White Sox and the critically acclaimed Prince Charming. But by the time Live Aid came around, he was flying solo.
That same year he also had a new song called Vive Le Rock, and when he was asked to cut his set short for the good of the show, that was the one he chose to play. He, later on, claimed he regretted playing the show, calling it the end of rock and roll.
