Sue Nicholls is an English actress who is remembered for not one but several amazing roles that she portrayed over the years. Among them, the character of Audrey Roberts in the soap opera Coronation Street stands out. Nicholls was a permanent member of the casting crew from 1979 to 1982, and she had some off time from the show.

In 1984, she rejoined the cast and hasn’t looked back. Before she started acting in Coronation Street, she appeared in a Broadway show in the 1974 revival of the comedy London Assurance. The year 2021 hasn’t been so great to her as she lost her husband of 28 years to Alzheimer’s disease.
