Ian McKellen – Age 82
He may be getting on in age, but Ian McKellen has made a significant mark on modern pop culture. This is thanks to his roles as Magneto in The X-Men movies and his run as Gandalf the Grey/White in “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” franchise of films.
Of course, while his wizard and mutant status makes him relevant to modern youths, he has been an acting icon since 1964. This was when he made his debut with a stage play called “A Scent of Flowers.” His first film appearance came in 1969’s “The Promise,” and in 2021, he starred in “Infinitum: Subject Unknown.”
