Willem Dafoe – Aquaman

In the case of DC‘s Aquaman, plenty of special effects were required to bring the world of this superhero to life. From the detailed underwater scenes to massive battles, there was CGI galore.

Of course, a training sequence is of utmost importance in any film featuring the Hero’s Journey, and in this movie, acclaimed actor Willem Dafoe is the perfect man for the job! However, his age did need a bit of an adjustment, but we know that this wasn’t an issue for the wizards in the editing room handling the de-aging magic!
