Winifer Fernandez
Winifer Fernandez’s career got off to an incredible start as she Best Digger, Best Receiver, and Best Libero awards at the 2010 NORECA Youth Championships. A professional career followed that. She spent a few years of her career playing volleyball in her native Dominican Republic and Azerbaijan.
Because of her good looks, Fernandez earned some international fame and a spot on some “Most Beautiful Athlete” lists, but she simply wanted to be known for her playing skills, as she earned a reputation for being one of the best liberos in the world.
