Candace Parker
Candace Parker was the LeBron James of women’s basketball, becoming the only woman to win the Gatorade Girls High School Basketball Player of the Year Award twice. She then went to the traditional powerhouse University of Tennessee where she continued to dominate the game. Parker became the first woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game, and the first to dunk twice in one game.
Parker still plays for the team that drafted her, the Los Angeles Sparks. With the Sparks, Parker has won two MVP awards, been named an All-Star 5 times, and picked up the WNBA Championship in 2016.
