Anastasija Zolotic
Anastasija Zolotic might only be eighteen years old today, but she’s already making America proud with her achievements as an athlete. She competes in taekwondo, and she had her first taste of success when she became a silver medalist during the Summer Youth Olympics in 2018.
Zolotic finally qualified for the Summer Olympics in 2020, and she made history in 2021 when she became the first woman from the United States who won first place at the Olympics. She defeated Tatiana Minina from Russia. At the rate she’s going, she will indeed have a memorable legacy within the taekwondo community.
