Scary Moments
Besides the regular ups and downs of life, the family weathered a few scary moments right from the moment they welcomed the septuplets. Having been born prematurely, the tots were not only underweight, but a few had some medical complications. Lexi and Natalie had to rely on feeding tubes to get the nourishment they needed when they were freshly out of the womb.
They weren’t out of the woods even after leaving the hospital, and Natalie had severe acid reflux while Lexi suffered from a muscle disorder. Thankfully, both grew out of the early difficulties to become as healthy as their siblings.
