Linda Lavin – Alice

Playing the title character in the CBS sitcom “Alice” put Linda Lavin on the map. She is equally known for her off-Broadway work starting from her childhood years alongside her on Broadway performances. Her list of screen credits has since grown to include “The Good Wife,” “The Back-up Plan,” and the 2021 TV series “B Positive.”

Her hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed, and she has a long list of awards to her name. She won multiple Tony Awards, two Golden Globe awards for “Alice,” and two Drama Desk Awards. Lavin has appeared in cabaret performances, and in 2012, Ghostlight Records released her recording “Possibilities.”
