Richard Keith — 1950
In “I Love Lucy,” everyone adored Richard Keith. On the program, he made his acting debut as the young Ricky. The character’s popularity hasn’t waned since its inception. Keith is not his birth name, as many people believe—it’s Thibodeaux.
Keith decided to alter his surname since it was difficult for Americans to pronounce. When the name of the program is mentioned, many people experience a pang of nostalgia. Between 1962 and 1966, he appeared in 13 episodes of “The Andy Griffith Show” as a youngster. Three years later, “David and the Giants,” a Mississippi-based rock band, hired him. While being in the band, they cooperated with Capitol Records mostly.
