A Strange Behavior
Although it initially appeared to be an odd request, Mason was relieved that it had nothing to do with his initial wild and worrisome thoughts. He calmed down and spoke briefly with the receptionist and some friendly next-door visitors who had become concerned about his situation.
When they left, he took a shower and retired to bed, but not before questioning where exactly his wife would be spending the needed alone time. The next morning, Julia charmed her way back to their hotel room and pretended as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile, Mason could tell something was amiss with her as soon as she walked in.
