Taking the Opponent’s Head as Trophy

Ever wonder how animals in the wild survive? Well, sometimes it comes down to a fight to the death. In this case, a buck ended up taking its opponent’s head as a trophy, inadvertently sending a warning to others not to mess with it.

But even the winner didn’t come out unscathed. According to Jim Brown, the owner of the trail cam that captured this eerie image, the buck looked thin and unfortunately never made it through the harsh winter temperatures in the area.
