When Prey Becomes Predator: Coyotes Chasing Raccoons
Raccoons are unlikely prey for coyotes. That’s what the experts from North Carolina State University’s forestry department determined based on this footage showing the two species coexisting. However, there’s an exception to the rule.
This image emerged of a coyote going after a raccoon, and it appears that these two aren’t exactly on friendly terms. The raccoon is seen scrambling up a tree to escape the growling attacker on the ground. It’s an intense moment, and we can’t help but cheer for the little one to make it out of the ordeal alive. This surprise proves that sometimes the predator can become the prey.
