Don Franklin

Don Franklin popped up on everyone’s radar as part of the sci-fi TV shows “SeaQuest DSV” (later called “SeaQuest 2032”) and “Seven Days” in the ’90s. The decade that followed saw him take on minor small-screen roles, including ones on “NCIS” as Agent Ron Slacks and on “NCIS: Los Angeles” as Captain Alan Beck.

Fortunately, his career has picked up once again since as he scored a recurring part in the critically-acclaimed HBO show “Insecure.” Franklin has been portraying the character Malcolm since 2017 and continued to do so until the series’ fourth season in 2020.
