At the toy store, a young man couldn’t help but be attracted to the Ken doll on the shelf; it was wearing the same shirt he had on! After a double-take, he was filled with nostalgia. Meanwhile, store staff members were laughing hard and marveling at the similarity. It’s no wonder people have come to associate Ken and Barbie as couple goals.

After all, they first met in 1961 on the set of Barbie’s debut TV commercial. Even half a century later, the two are still doing stuff together. The man wearing the matching shirt was a friendly reminder of our friendships and relationships that stand the test of time.
