Michael Caine & Shakira Baksh – Married Since 1973

Dating sites were not yet a thing in the ’70s, so “Batman Begins” actor Michael Caine had to meet his wife Shakira Baksh the old-fashioned way: spotting her in an ad. A Miss World 1967 finalist, Baksh was trying her hand at modeling at the time and even turned down Caine several times.

Still, he persisted, and they began dating. They wed in 1973, with Baksh influencing the two-time Oscar winner to give up his vices and get his life on track. Going on five decades later, the couple is still very much in love as Caine pursues a successful acting career starring in the 2021 film “Twist.”
