Costa Rica isn’t a big name during the World Cup competition, but this woman seems so glad to be cheering for her home country. We’re not that surprised; the Happy Planet Index noted that the Central American nation is the happiest in the world. A factor would be the government’s allotment of army funds to education and healthcare.

If this was taken in 2014, this woman’s cheers weren’t a waste because Costa Rica won against England! In fairness to the tropical land, English players have been playing in the World Cup at least five times already, so there’s no doubt that the nation is a force to reckon with.
