Forest Whitaker – Football
Before gaining awards for his contribution to film and television, Whitaker first collected experience as a football player during his student years. He played at the Palisades Charter High School and entered California State Polytechnic University on a football scholarship.
A back injury pushed him to change his major to music and eventually to drama. He later moved to the University of Southern California and pursued a career in acting. Destiny had the stars in the right places, and Whitaker is now considered one of the most awarded actors in Hollywood. His most successful films include “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and “The Last King of Scotland.”
