Micheal Jordan is a former professional American basketball player and businessman. He is the owner and chairman of the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association, and he also owns 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. He is one of his generation’s most effectively marketed athletes and is known for his product endorsements.
He is credited for the success of Nike’s Air Jordan sneakers, which were introduced in 1984 and remain popular today. He led the Chicago Bulls to six National Basketball Association championships and was named the NBA’s most valuable player five times. Jordan is credited with popularizing the NBA worldwide in the ’80s and ’90s.
