Tiger Woods (Born in 1975)
Tiger Woods had outstanding amateur, junior, and college golf careers before turning pro at age 20 in 1996. He won three PGA Tour events by the end of 1997 and the 1997 Masters by 12 strokes in a record-breaking performance. Some argue that Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all time.
He has held numerous records; he has been the number one player for the most weeks consecutively, more than any other golfer in history. He has been awarded the PGA Player of the Year award a record 11 times, and many credit him for introducing actual athleticism to golf.
