Jim Brown is often mentioned as the greatest player in NFL history. He played for the Cleveland Brown of the National Football League from 1957 to 1965. By the time of his retirement, he had shattered most previous rushing records, and in 2012, he was named the greatest professional football player by The Sporting News.
Brown transitioned to acting, appearing in action and adventure films like “The Dirty Dozen” and “100 Rifles.” He also doesn’t shy away from voicing his opinion about the sport. He mused about coming out of retirement when Pittsburgh Steelers running back Franco Harris almost broke his rushing record. Claiming he didn’t like Harrises running style.
