Björn Borg (Born in 1956)

Björn Borg is a former Swedish world number one tennis player. He is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. His rivalry with John McEnroe is widely considered to be the most interesting in the sport of tennis. Their match in the 1980 Wimbledon final is regarded as one of the greatest tennis matches ever played.

At the beginning of his career, he was a teenage sensation, and his success helped popularize tennis in the ’70s. He was the first player in the sport to earn $1 million in prize money. Borg’s fashion label “Björn Borg” is one of the most successful clothing lines in Sweden, second only to Calvin Klein.
