Sue Nicholls is an English actress, who is renowned for her roles on British television in “Crossroads,” “The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin,” “Rentaghost,” and especially for her long-running part as Audrey Roberts in the soap opera “Coronation Street.” She also starred in the 1974 Broadway revival of the comedy London Assurance.
She had been honored at the British Soap Awards on multiple occasions, such as in 2000 for Best Comedy Performance and Best Dramatic Performance. Sue was ranked on the list of most popular Soap Opera Actresses as well as in the elite list of celebrities born in the United Kingdom.
