Master Gims and Dem Dem — 17 Years

Maitre Gims or Gandhi Bilel Djuna, whose real name is, has been married to the so-called Dem Dem, a young woman of Malian origin, since 2005. Two songs by Maitre Gims have moreover been written as declarations of love to Dem Dem although before their story comes to light. The first song, entitled “Do you love me” seems quite obvious as to its romantic nature. The other song, “It shines like never” is more difficult to associate with a declaration of love even though Maitre Gims has defined it as such. Dem Dem was also in the foreground in the clip of the song “Tout donne” by Maitre Gims.
