George Michael – $4.53 Million, Oxfordshire
In July 2019, George Michael’s family offloaded his country home in the village of Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. The late pop star had initially purchased the cottage in 1999 for $1.93. According to the local Land registry, it was sold for a profitable $4.53 million, making it a lucrative investment indeed on the late singer’s part.
Sadly, the pop musician who had made us all sing and dance during the festive holidays made us cry during Christmas 2016 when he tragically passed away at the age of 53. In 2021, ABC News dug into Michael’s pop stardom in a profile of “Superstar.”
