A young lad approached Jim, and he immediately sensed something unique and out of the ordinary about him. Though it was common for children to visit fire stations and admire fire engines, this boy had something different on his mind. He had a special request for the captain.

Trucker Dukes, the boy’s name, was a long-term visitor to the city, fascinated by the bustling metropolis. In his mind, there was no better place to be other than New York City to advance his particular interest. He had not imagined at all that this was where his dreams would come to fruition.
