Treatment in Futility

The captain and his team were curious about Sarah and Trucker’s sudden departure from New York City. The little lad was suffering from stage four neuroblastoma, which left the family with no options but to prioritize being together. Despite enduring several rounds of chemotherapy and two surgeries, the treatments failed to remove the tumor.

To make matters worse, Trucker’s medication was taking a toll on his young and fledgling body, causing him additional distress. Sadly, the doctors had exhausted all available options! Sarah made the difficult decision to take her son back home to Hawaii. The news was heart-wrenching for everyone involved.
