Feeling Close To His Father

Donna and Shelby explained that they wanted TJ V to look up to his father, knowing that he was a respected member of the community throughout. They also wanted him to feel close to TJ even though his father wasn’t physically there. The memories they share from his childhood up until his untimely death would help with that aspect. 

In essence, that’s what Memorial Day is all about. The annual U.S.  holiday observed on May 31st honors the women and men who lost their lives while serving the country. Most Americans observe it by visiting cemeteries or participating in local parades while the families of fallen soldiers hold memorials.
