While we haven’t explored 95% of the oceans due to their inhospitable sub-zero temperatures, researchers recently made massive strides in their study. They found a fascinating ancient civilization under the waters – An Antarctic remains that resembled a city!

Scientists believe that Antarctica was once part of Gondwanaland that Australia’s landmass eventually broke away from, giving proof of human presence in these now un-livable areas. Although we don’t know how ancient this city, the murky depths indeed have many stories to tell. If human existence is proved so far off in ancient times, who knows what’s next, exciting no?
