Mummy Atop The Andes Peaks
The mountain ranges of the Andes houses an assortment of remnants from the ancient past. But out of the exciting things it harbors, the mummy of a child is the one that captivates people the most.
Dubbed as the “Plomo Mummy,” locals found it in the Chilean parts of the icy summits in the year 1954. The boy is estimated to be somewhere around eight or nine years old, considering the height and the build of the body. But what’s interesting is that the child is assumed to be a human offering to the gods that followed after completing an ancient sacred ritual.
