Mysterious Antarctic Alps
Antarctica never fails to mesmerize us. Not only the ice-covered plain holds plenty of uncovered secrets, but now even the mountainous regions have entered the competition. The experienced scientists from Russia discovered the high ranges, towering over 8,000 feet, some five decades ago.
Yet it was not until the 2010s that scientific experts did a thorough mapping of the mysterious alps. According to the findings, the snow-capped hills ran over 750 miles in the East of the polar continent. Though we have already learned a great deal about the mounts, there’s still much more to discover!
