More Surprises In Animal Droppings

You may agree that not all discoveries involving animal excrement and carcasses are necessarily a bad find. Take, for example, the husband and wife who found an artifact of high value in a defrosting pile of caribou droppings. The couple was in Canada’s Yukon mountains on a hunting trip when they found a dart shaft section in the rapidly thawing droppings.

What was even more surprising was that the animals hadn’t been seen anywhere around the area for decades, but after scientific investigation, it was discovered that the droppings were from thousands of years ago and came from ancient herds in that area.
