Ice Age Cubs
Puppies aren’t the only creatures to be found frozen in Siberia; cubs, too, were recently discovered in the ice continent. Ages in the ice had so well preserved the felines that their fur and other organs were all intact, mesmerizing the scientists, considering that they’re dated to be at least 10,000 years old.
The discovery presents a breakthrough in cave lion research. Since before these cubs made archeological headlines, experts had hitherto relied only on tracks and bones left behind, and no fossils were insight. We thank the ice for giving us this priceless piece of history!
