Vegetarian Dinosaurs Existed Too
If you thought only modern-day animals and humans are vegetarian, then you thought wrong. Even ancient dinosaurs like the one found in Alberta in 2011 were also vegetarian and fed on plants, something that we bet would surprise many people.
Shawn Funk discovered the nodosaur fossil in the Millennium Mine and scientists today believe the creature walked the earth over 110 million years ago, weighing a jaw-dropping 3000 pounds. It seems the Alberta area is full of prehistoric creatures perfectly preserved, making us wonder what they will find next in the region.
