Peter Dean was once rehearsing Shakespeare in Petticoat Lane Market when actress Prunella Scales randomly advised him to take drama classes. Five decades after that moment, he became one of the most remembered legends in Hollywood. He first had his breakthrough role as Jack Lynn in “Law And Order” and appeared in television shows such as “Minder” and “Hammer House of Horror.”
In 1980, he landed his most unforgettable role as Pete Beale in “EastEnders.” This was followed by a part in “Coronation Street” as Jeff “Fangio” Bateman. After “EastEnders,” Dean maintained a casual run in the industry. He is known for appearing in “Little Britain,” “Harry and Cosh,” and “The Real Marigold Hotel.”
