Kevin McNally (Born In 1956) – Pirates of the Caribbean
Kevin McNally explored the world of acting at the age of 16 with a part in the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. In 1973, he received a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and two years later, received a Best Actor Bancroft Gold Medal. Eventually, he rose to prominence for portraying Joshamee Gibbs in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film series.
McNally is one of the only three actors who appeared in all five films of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” and the only actor from the film series to portray the role again in “Kingdom Hearts.” As a screenwriter, he wrote some episodes for “Minder,” “Boon,” and “Lock, Stock.”
