Jim Broadbent (Born In 1949) – Longford

Jim Broadbent embarked on an onscreen career shortly after he graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1972. He slowly gained prominence in the ’80s, often appearing in film and television shows such as “Only Fools and Horses,” “Time Bandits,” and “Brazil.”

He finally had his breakthrough in the comedy-drama “Life Is Sweet.” After such, Broadbent established an iconic stand in Hollywood, winning awards after another in subsequent projects. His performances in “Iris,” “Longford,” and “Moulin Rouge!” landed numerous wins in Academy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA Awards. Still lending his expertise, he acted in the 2021 film “A Boy Called Christmas.”
