Brenda Blethyn (Born In 1946) – Secrets & Lies

Brenda Blethyn established a career in administrative work before pursuing acting. Eventually, she enrolled at the Guildford School of Acting. She first gained attention for appearing in “Troilus and Cressida” and “Benefactors,” which earned her her first Olivier nomination.

After a series of small television roles, she had her breakthrough in leading the drama “Secrets & Lies” which landed her multiple nominations. This was followed by more widely recognized projects like “Little Voice,” “Pride & Prejudice,” and “War and Peace.” Blethyn may have accomplished a lot already, but she keeps on adding more to her legacy. She has been starring in the 2022 series “Kate & Koji.”
