Still Fun – A Lesser Known Performance

Lost between the Queen, Dire Straits, and David Bowie performances, songstress Alison Moyet and then teen heartthrob, Paul Young, captivated audiences with a duet on the song That’s The Way Love Is. It was, in fact, Young’s set on the night, and he also performed in the closing rendition of Do They Know It’s Christmas.

Young was the singer of the first line in the studio recording of that song, so he earned his place on the Live Aid band list. He also had more than one song, with him performing Come Back and Stay and Every Time You Go Away.
