The incredible thing about Alexander Skarsgaard and his father Stellan is that both of them seemed to have career highs in the 2010’s. While Alexander was playing Eric Northman, his most recognized character in the show True Blood, Stellan landed a role in the critically acclaimed film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Their success continued with Stellan playing a Dr. Erik Selvig in Thor and the Avengers and Alexander landing Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Awards for playing Perry Wright in the show Big Little Lies. Both father and son have upcoming sci-fi films with Stellan starring in Dune and Alexander starring in Godzilla vs Kong.
